About the Forum

The Capstone Women’s Leadership Excellence Forum™ is a signature experience designed to elevate, equip, and connect women leaders across government, nonprofits, healthcare, education, and the private sector in a safe and welcoming community.

Now in its third year, the 2026 Capstone Women’s Leadership Excellence Forum brings together 150 influential women and allies for a transformative day of learning, networking, and recognition in celebration of Women’s History Month. Hosted in collaboration with Chairwoman Nicole Hendrickson of Gwinnett County, this year’s event focuses on purpose-driven leadership and collective excellence.

2026 Theme

This theme is drawn from Dr. Woodard’s redwood tree metaphor for leadership as featured in her forthcoming book, The Path, Your Guided Journey to Excellence in Leadership and Life. Like redwood trees that grow strongest when their roots intertwine, women leaders achieve extraordinary heights through connection, shared purpose, and mutual support. This theme reflects our commitment to building lasting networks that elevate entire communities.
